Theatre Sports
What is Theatresports?

Theatresports is improvised theatre played as a spectator sport. Teams of players Invent scenes from suggestions given by the audience. To play Theatresports, people use the basic principals of improvisation and spontaneity -. These principals are also applicable to many human situations involving creative interaction, communication and business.
Our improvisation workshops begin with physical loosening, kid's games and theatre exercises to energise, release laughter and create an atmosphere of trust and support. From there, more challenging work will develop skills in verbal expression, self-presentation and simple storytelling.

The work is exhilarating. It asks participants to commit, take risks and throw themselves into the games; consequently they feel challenged on unfamiliar levels.
Often people will show sides of themselves not before seen -an undistinguished member of staff suddenly shines as a brilliant wit or a natural downA theatresports workshop can be a great leveller for any group, and the desire to create such a bond between people is one of the most frequent reasons we are asked to give these workshops.
